100% Mexican Catering


Josue Mendoza is the founder of Buffet Mendoza. Born in Querétaro, Querétaro and like many inmigrante he left Mexico when he was 16 years old to fulfill his dream. He is currently based in New York City. With more than 15 years of experience in the gastronomic industry, he decided to start this project 6 years ago. This 100% Mexican Catering project adds Mexican flavor to parties with dishes such as casseroles, braziers, delicious handmade tortillas, colored tlacoyitos, colored pork rinds gorditas and much more variety of Mexican Antojitos.

Betty recipes, Josue grandmother’s has been the inspiration to bring to life this delicious project. Thanks that his signature seasoning has been a success it has enable him provide for his sister and himself.

The purpose of our project is to offer you the most authentic experience of Our Mexico. In order not to forget that rich Mexican flavor, we have a wide variety of dishes. Including different parts of the Mexican Republic such as barbecue from Hidalgo, original Mixtec pork from Morelos, Michoacan-style carnitas, talludas from Oaxaca, Veracruz-style seafood casserole, Jalisco-style birria and spicy grill chicken from Mexico City.
